Construction Skills Queensland (CSQ) is an independent industry-funded body supporting employers, workers, apprentices and career seekers in the building and construction industry.

Building and Construction Industry Training Fund (Qld) (the Fund) is an income tax exempt charitable trust.  BCITF (Qld) Ltd (the Company), an unlisted limited liability public company, is the corporate trustee. The Minister of the Queensland Department of Education and Training is the sole member of the Company and appoints the directors who are all industry representatives. ARE YOU AN ELIGIBLE PARTICIPANT?
To be an eligible participant you must be:

· An Existing Worker; in the Building and Construction
Industry
Current Employee who has a one month or more
employment relationship with their
Employer. The working relationship can be built up
through full-time, part-time or casual
employment or engagement as a contract worker.

· An Eligible Worker has the same meaning as the
Building and Construction Industry
(Portable Long Services Leave) Act 1991 (Qld) as
amended from time to time.

You must also be:

· an Australian or New Zealand citizen; or
· a permanent resident of Australia; or
· a refugee and humanitarian visa holder.

And must:

· permanently reside in Queensland; or
· be permanently employed in Queensland.

And must not be:

· an Employee of any Authority or RTO; (Federal, State,
Local government, state or public Authority).
· currently enrolled and participating in a Queensland
secondary school program (excluding a school based
Apprentice or Trainee);
· a contracted trainer or assessor or existing worker of
an RTO;
· previously funded under this Program for three (3) Short
Courses in the same Contract Term;
· funded by an Authority or such other source for delivery
of the same Training being undertaken as part of this
Program;
· Seeking a Verification of Competency (or Determination
of Competency) services, or
· other individuals that do not meet Participant eligibility
as prescribed by the Existing and Eligible Worker
definitions

When enrolling in to a CSQ subsidised course we will need to
collect and retain documents, records and information as
specified below:

One (1) of the following:

· Full Birth Certificate or Birth Certificate Extract; or
· Medicare card (green only); or
· Passport; or
· Visa.

One (1) of the following:

· Queensland Driver Licence;
· Telephone account;
· Bank statement;
· Statement from a real estate agent; or
· Any other formal documentation stating the
Participant's full name and current residential
Address

Evidence of employment status and occupation (if
relevant)

· E.g. letter from Employer, Statutory Declaration,
verification of work history and current tasks
Are you employed in the building & construction industry? If so, you may be eligible for heavily substidised training in a variety of short courses (licences and tickets) and qualifications Civil Safety has been selected by Construction Skills Queensland (CSQ) as a  supplier of training for the excavator, skid steer loader, front end loader, roller and backhoe.

Depending on your eligibility, we have the  funding available that can go towards or even cover the full cost of your training. Are you working in the Queensland building and construction industry but don’t hold a formal qualification?

The Skills Assessment and Gap Training program provides training and assessment services to enable existing workers and new entrants to have their skills and experience recognised, and to access gap training required to obtain a nationally recognised building and construction qualification.

Under this funding program, Civil SAafety can identify the skills you already have, and provide the gap training you need to attain a nationally recognised qualification (from the list below). You only pay $50
